Winter Conference
The Winter Conference consists of a series of pages, elements and content types. This may evolve over time as the conference may have different needs.

To make this all come together, we’ve got a few things in play:
- Pages (listed above)
- Workshops (custom content type)
- Speakers (custom content type)
- Menus
- Modules
Each time there is a new Conference, the pages will need to duplicated and set up for the new year.
We have two taxonomy (categorization methods) that connect with the Conference Elements.
- Conference Day
- Conference Year
Conference Day you will likely never need to update. These are set up for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Espangol.

Conference Year though will need to be added each year. Currently 2022 and 2023 are in place.

Workshops & Speakers
These items are accessible from the Dashboard of the website, from the left sidebar menu.

Each Speaker and Workshop should have the Conference Year associated with it. This is what determines which set of pages it will appear on.



When it comes time for the next year’s Conference, the respective Workshop and Speaker pages will need to be edited in Beaver Builder, then Edit the UABB Advanced Posts element for each area and update the “Conference Year” to be the new year. The Day on Workshops should remain the same unless a new day is being added.

Global Elements & Menus
The Conferences also make use of 2 Global Elements, a top menu and the block buttons at the bottom. These need to be duplicated and set up for the new year as well. We recommend reaching out to us to duplicate these items as they can sometimes cause confusion when replicating.
